SUMMER CAMP APPLICATION
Every year, the Ringette Retreat employs over 100 ringette instructors for approximately 11 camps.
If you'd like to become part of our team for one or more of these camps, please complete the application below. Click here for more information about the positions available in 2008.
We have some exciting changes and opportunities for our 2008 Summer Camps. The camps are now 4 days long. Top Gun camps are still 5 days long. We have added a two day tournament to eight of our camps. For those of our staff that are on Tour we have a new accommodation stipend, as well as, a logistics stipend.
All of our staff are certified. This year there will be changes with staff training and certification.

Note: You will not be considered for a position unless you fill out this application form online. If you have worked at the Retreat in the past, you must still apply for a 2008 position through this form.
Preference will be given to those who submit an application before February 15, 2008.

Who works at the Retreat?
Successful applicants will demonstrate all of the following:
- A desire to work with young athletes
- The ability to help athletes grow their confidence
- Demonstrated personal excellence and leadership in your own life, especially in sport
- Ringette playing experience (athletes with elite ringette experience will be given preference, but this is not a prerequisite for the job.)
- A passion for the sport of ringette
- Teaching experience and ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Personal accountability and superior organizational skills
Preference will be given to applicants who:
- Have worked for the Ringette Retreat in the past
- Are 18 years old (though we do have several positions for applicants under 18)
- Have ringette playing experience
- Have ringette coaching experience
- Apply before February 15, 2008
Our Expectations
If you are successful in receiving a position with the Retreat, we expect the following from you:
1. Your address and bank account information to pay you
2. A bio on your ringette achievements and a photo of you for our website
3. Participation in our mandatory staff certification process prior to camp
4. Help with non-instruction duties, e.g., transporting supplies (details in staff survey)
5. For you to arrange your own transportation to and from camp, unless otherwise specified by the Retreat travel policy
